Europe Politics Theosophy

Should Theosophists be Eurosceptics and Critical of Globalization and Internationalism?

Should Theosophists be Eurosceptics and Critical of Globalization, Globalism, and Internationalism. What do you think of what Arnold Toynbee and Coudenhove-Kalergi believes?

The anxieties and stresses regarding the preservation of the Western Civilization, as we know it, put on Europeans and Northern Americans are absolutely real concerns, and justified concerns. The terror attack in Manchester, England, killed 22 people and wounded dozens of others.

After the attack, pop artist, Katy Perry stated in a radio interview:

“I think the greatest thing we can do now is unite as people, as fan bases, all of it.”

She continues:

“Whatever we say behind people’s backs, the Internet can be a little bit ruthless as far as fan bases go but I think that the greatest thing we can do is just unite and love on each other. No barriers, no borders, we all just need to co-exist.”

Certain outlets took this as a political remark, but Katy Perry tried to clarify that she was edited, and it was in reference to fan culture. Nevertheless, the idea of “no barriers, no borders…” when that statement is taken out of context and in a political sense, has become throughout the twentieth-century a strong belief in the neo-occult revival and hippie spiritual movements of the 20th c. This sentiment is expressed in the political movements and institutions of internationalism and world federalism. Many operate like bigots themselves, detesting anything outside of their solutions as bigotry.

Persons within the ‘Theosophical Movement,’ Post-Blavatsky and during the Wars, became political and idealized Theosophists new role, promoting theosophy alongside institutions promoting more international cooperation; but this has turned into something else, far beyond the days of the League of Nations. This thinking became the trend in International Affairs as a cold reaction to nationalism.

In the circles of conspiracy theory, Theosophy and Theosophists are said to be the aids of a global anti-Christian Satanic conspiracy and the “New World Order.” The New World Order was never mentioned by us, as a fantasy, but is viewed from a very grounded approach, outside of those theories. It is a real ideology and philosophy about how the world should work, and how it is already being fit to work.

The new political order and global policemen

An Updated version to 2017

Are contemporary theosophists of the ‘Theos. Soc.’ supporters of —

  • Global Governance Agenda and Progressive Egalitarian ideals
  • Liberal/Neoconservative Internationalism
  • Globalism and Globalization
  • Cosmopolitanism and World Federalism

Some, indeed do, as common for certain minds that think “progressivist.” They say things like, “I am a World Citizen, and have no country; my country is the World” and believe that human consciousness is expanding to include the idea of “planetary citizenship.” This is bogus, especially from a realistic standpoint, about the economic pressures pushing and creating such an impression. They support the United Nations, Globalism, etc. Perhaps, many of the dwindling numbers of the Theosophical Societies believe they have to define their Thought that way, because of all of their “universal concepts,” but we beg to differ; and we argue, the THEOSOPHICAL MOVEMENT IS DEAD BECAUSE OF IT.

Everything is “universalized” to them and is seen that way.

These individuals in society think like Arnold J. Toynbee when he said that — “Compassion is the desire that moves the individual self to widen the scope of its self-concern to embrace the whole of the universal self” (Arnold J. Toynbee, The Toynbee-Ikeda Dialogue: Man Himself Must Choose, 1976).

These spiritual ideas have been intellectualized and politicized.

Anyone would say, this is quite theosophical in its teaching, to widen our scope about the world’s condition. However this teaching, central in Theosophy, has been drawn out and applied to political theory, as demonstrated with Alice Bailey; and particularly tied to the ideal of global governance in a new Post-Cold War political order. They apply it to justify the obsolete nature of nation-state borders (sovereignty); and in the case of Britain’s independence from the European Union, its votaries damn Brexit voters of the U.K.

Are Theosophists supporters of these agendas? We argue, that an individual can make such an argument for themselves, but NO ONE can say, that is what THEOSOPHY supports. The ‘Theosophical Movement’ first arose in a time of nationalisms. For Annie Besant, internationalism, socialism, and nationalism were interlinked.

The writings in the letters of K.H. and M. with A.P. Sinnett and Allan O. Hume, as well as Blavatsky, T. Subba Row, or Damodar’s, advance no political and economic system of governing. Additionally, their solutions were entirely within the scope of nationalism, the nation-state, and the people belonging to the region of interest, or the branch. They were by all means in expression, like the republican revolutionaries during the shift away from the old order, and wanted to lift the British Empire from India. This however, historically later on, did not pan out the best. So, while the Theosophical Society is important within that history during the colonial period, placing Theosophists within further political involvement, would be only the consequences of later individuals, asserting their false authority.

Greek, Italian, Irish, Anglo Theosophical branches and chapters, &c. were established, wherever there were a group of a certain number that could establish one, and Europe was much different than now under the “multicultural” and “multiracial” project of globalization. This is working to create in each European region, gradually and strategically with each new and young generation, a very vague and vapid sense of identity. That vague identity will be replaced with that of the federal European Union. This is causing backlash on the Political Right, and among certain Socialists/Marxists that oppose the European Union, who are treated as racist or the opposite of “progressive.” It is giving rise to Identitarianism and Traditional Conservative views of race, and its relation to the nation-state. College political and sociology classes are incessantly deconstructing the nation-state as a “modern construct.” Psychologically, once deconstructed, the student is left with no solution, and from the vacuum comes these ideas: “We should be world citizens”; “the World should just be one, and things will be better”; “borders are constructs, and should not exist. Borders, are the source of world conflict” etc.

Nationalism is evil, they decry.

This gesture of Merkel will always remain an utter shame.

I want to demonstrate to you, perfectly, why Western Civilization is being fundamentally changed from within, through these shifts.

First, consider Anthony Bourdain. Anthony Bourdain was in Cologne, Germany in 2016, during the Donald Trump election cycle in the U.S. Anthony Bourdain, a Jew with beliefs we’ve shown before in Katie Engelhart of Vice News interview Dov Maimon: “Demography is the key to everything,” is under the impression that race-mixing will magically fix racial tensions among the human species, stating that the only solution is to make everyone Brown, he believes will happen in the next 70-80 years.

Arnold Toynbee on The Trend of International Affairs Since the War (1931)

“If we are frank with ourselves, we shall admit that we are engaged on a deliberate and sustained and concentrated effort to impose limitations upon the sovereignty and independence of the fifty or sixty local sovereign independent States which at present partition the habitable surface of the earth and divide the political allegiance of mankind. It is just because we are really attacking the principle of local sovereignty that we keep on protesting our loyalty to it so loudly. The harder we press our attack upon the idol, the more pains we take to keep its priests and devotees in a fool’s paradise—lapped in a false sense of security which will inhibit them from taking up arms in their idol’s defense. The local national state, invested with the attributes of sovereignty — is an abomination of desolation standing in the place where it ought not. It has stood in that place now — demanding and receiving human sacrifices from its poor deluded votaries — for four or five centuries. Our political task in our generation is to cast the abomination out, to cleanse the temple and to restore the worship of the divinity to whom the temple rightfully belongs. In plain terms, we have to re-transfer the prestige and the prerogatives of sovereignty from the fifty or sixty fragments of contemporary society to the whole of contemporary society — from the local national states by which sovereignty has been usurped, with disastrous consequences, for half a millennium, to some institution embodying our society as a whole.

In the world as it is today, this institution can hardly be a universal Church. It is more likely to be something like a League of Nations. I will not prophesy. I will merely repeat that we are at present working, discreetly but with all our might, to wrest this mysterious political force called sovereignty out of the clutches of the local national states of our world. And all the time we are denying with our lips what we are doing with our hands…” (Address to the 1931 Copenhagen conference as published in International Affairs: Journal of the Royal Institute of International Affairs, November 1931)

You cannot expect a people to kow tow to this.

This creates racial issues and resentment.

From the standpoint of ethnography and the record of human history, changes in demographics, and the development of new peoples is an inevitable part of history. Imperial powers have shaped much of history thus far, but now it is being shaped and experimented by several forces among the international community.

A community of institutions that feel they are morally obligated.

What are the real reasons and who are the architects of the ideal?

Count Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi was the founder and President of the Pan-European Union for 49 years, which was the forerunner to the European Union. In his work, Praktischer Idealismus (Practical Idealism, 1925), he describes the role of “Jewish emancipation” during the fall of power in Europe’s feudal aristocracy, and against the phenomenon of modern “Antisemitism.” Count Coudenhove-Kalergi describes in his work the spiritual supremacy of the Jews, referring to Trotsky as the frontrunner of modern politics, and Russian Bolshevism as being a step forward towards the man of the future — the mixed-race Eurasian-Negroid.

The Universal Tan-Man

“The man of the future will be of mixed race. Today’s races and classes will gradually disappear owing to the vanishing of space, time, and prejudice. The Eurasian-Negroid race of the future, similar in its appearance to the Ancient Egyptians, will replace the diversity of peoples with a diversity of individuals. (…)

Instead of destroying European Jewry, Europe, against its own will, refined and educated this people into a future leader-nation through this artificial selection process. No wonder that this people, that escaped Ghetto-Prison, developed into a spiritual nobility of Europe. Therefore a gracious Providence provided Europe with a new race of nobility by the Grace of Spirit. This happened at the moment when Europe’s feudal aristocracy became dilapidated, and thanks to Jewish emancipation.” (Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi, Praktischer Idealismus [Practical Idealism], 1925, pp. 20, 23, 50)

At what cost?

This idea of Coudenhove-Kalergi actually has nothing to do with the Theosophical Concept of Root-Epochs. His idea is a socially-engineered idea. Citizens are being divided even more by race and demographics with a political party or affiliation. The young generation are being mobilized vengefully against their “old white” generations, to weaken the ties people feel to their nations, histories, heritage, and culture. I am not European, or White and yet, I see this as absolutely wrong what is happening, as if we were chesspieces.

If after seeing Bourdain’s table talk, Toynbee and Coudenhove-Kalergi’s words, and you agree, then perhaps what we are trying to do here, will not be understood, in a time where people are seen as bigots for holding up a flag of their nation. If people were to be truly honest, instead of finding the rejection of these agendas racist, they would see historically, how people were being used and exploited. It has created an irreversible situation throughout the Western world, where non-Europeans think these agendas are good.

“Let me make it clear to those Right-wingers” this German politician states

CBC Comedy: Beige Power Cringe

This comedy is wrong, and very uncomfortable to watch. With all of the anti race-mixing between all races, who speak of state-sponsored race-mixing agendas, this only exists mostly in film, where that is rare. Everyone is not mixing and we are still divided and segregated. So, there are certain fears I do not follow from those who usually give out this information, but this had to be said, to not give people the impression, Theosophy is somehow an aid to these agendas, that are concerning many Europeans, who do feel they have to carry on Western Civilization. This is the theosophical mission in the West too.

The best thing for you is finding it okay to question these things.

  1. “the spiritual supremacy of the Jews, ” That is good. (Read my book review of The Work of All Ages.) The sad fact is that the Jews are an aggressive, self-interested group of people who wield much power in the modern world. People who deny this do so out of ignorance, or because they mistakenly believe that as Christians they must support Zionist Israel. It is often a zero sum game when considering Jews and the societies in which they live. When the Jews gain advantage, it is usually at the cost of others. They do not seek to achieve win-win situations.

Back to your main point above, yes, people have been used as chess pieces or as useful idiots (Lenin’s terms). True brotherhood is worth working for, but it won’t be achieved by making every one tan. As well, the current state of humanity is such that we need nation states. A global government would be coercive and become despotic. (Consider how African nations are treated by the elitists at the UN, the IMF, and the world bank! As to humanitarian aid from the decadent West, childhood vaccines are lacking in Africa, yet the West sends ship loads of contraceptives to the Africans. This says that the West does not care about African children already here and alive, but wants to make sure the Africans do not have many more children in the future.)

The Christian principle of loving others is sound but it has not been put into practice. As Chesterton (d. 1936) lamented: “Christianity was found difficult, and left untried.”

    1. I do not accept the theory that Jews are at the helm of the world’s issues, or the Illuminati conspiracy. I have read nearly every piece related to the conspiracy and when it started. I do however recognize when and wherever there are persons, e.g., like Coudenhove-Kalergi, and oppose such idealogues in mass. I am reading your review. Theosophists and Blavatsky have criticized Jewish supremacist attitude, but they do that against all religions.

  2. The below quote from the works of Bailey seems clear enough, even without looking consulting an ‘authority’, uniformization and standardization does not seem a good idea.. except in some area’s.

“The new world order will not impose a uniform type of government, a synthetic religion and a system of standardisation upon the nations. The sovereign rights of each nation will be recognised and its peculiar genius, individual trends and racial qualities will be permitted full expression. In one particular only should there be an attempt to produce unity, and that will be in the field of education.”

    1. To add to the above, cooperation (between nations) is stressed often in the book The Externalisation Of The Hierarchy.
Not even democracy is considered to be the universal best system (which is no surprise).

“The objective of those who are entrusted with the straightening out of the world is not the imposition of democracy upon the entire world or to force Christianity upon a world of diversified religions.” (this text can be found somewhere on the same page as in the link above)

      1. Thank you John for your sharing and contribution to the discussion. It is good to lay it out to people today. Our expression will be different, in that it rejects these things as much as she states, the “super German power.” Would seem Germany is very essential to the European Union, and in a sense has that status in the creation of a new world order. Bailey was writing these things in the 1910-20’s, long before G.H.W. Bush’s era. in the 80’s. This is all Alice Bailey and her “Tibetan” who is oddly quite Christ-centered doing, and has made people draw false connection of continuation between Theosophical Movement and Bailey’s ideas similar to C.W. Leadbeater.

    2. Interesting find. It is evident, some people may have been directly inspired by this type of thinking, and further demonstrates what has been stated in another examination of Bailey’s books.

  3. As KH remarked to Hume in ML 28 (or 11 chron.): “You pride yourself upon not being a ‘patriot’ — I
do not; for, in learning to love one’s country one but learns to love humanity the more.” Patriotism is not automatic anymore, so we must “learn to love” our nation before loving the abstraction “all beings”.

    1. You seem to always find hidden gems Nicholas. I also like to go with that a Wm Q Judge quote I shared on patriotism, how certain times changing are just so strong, that patriots come bursting forth, but it is sometimes not enough to stop the current.

      1. Sounds like Judge was paraphrasing KH in his first ML letter to Hume: “But you
know, as any man who has read history, that patriots may burst their hearts in
vain if circumstances are against them. Sometimes, it has happened that no
human power, not even the fury and force of the loftiest patriotism, has been able
to blend an iron destiny aside from its fixed course, and nations have gone out
like torches dropped into water in the engulfing blackness of ruin.”
